Porter’s Accomplishments to date:
Porter has one of the best chocolate lab pedigrees available, and has continued to perform above our lofty expectations. Whether in the field hunting, or competing , Porter aims to please and loves to work. He is an excellent marker.

Porter received his Senior Hunter title at 19 months and received his Master Hunter title in August, '05, at 2 1/2 years old. On the derby field trial circuit, Porter earned 3 derby JAMS, placed 1st in the Minnesota Iron Range Derby. In qualifying, Porter placed 3rd in the Sooner Retriever Club Qual last May, his first ever qualifier. He also placed 3rd the second week of May this year in Colorado, and received two Jams and two Reserve Jams. One of Porter's Reserve Jams was placed in a Owner/Handler Qual in Omaha, in my second field trial ever as handler. Even better, he earned a Jam in the Amateur that same weekend officially qualifying him All Age. To top that off, we were already entered in the Lincoln Qual, which we placed 2nd!!

This Fall, Porter made hunting trips to Canada, North Dakota, and Iowa. We also hunted every chance we got in Nebraska.

At home he is sweet and loving, and in the field he is passionate about retrieving. Porter makes a great stud dog for those wanting the best in a lab.
